Campus Crusade for Christ Bob and Sandra Auer have the most tenure with Union Church of any of our missionaries. We were one of their supporters when they were first called into ministry, and they served for many years on the field in Africa. Now they live in Florida, still serving with Campus Crusade for Christ. They are part of Crusade's International Human Resource Ministry, training, encouraging and counseling field personnel around the world. Costa Rica Missions Jeremy and Andrea Clark are serving the Lord in Costa Rica with Grace Ministries International. They live in the city of San Jose with their children, Berea, Jason and Lydia. Jeremy is the director of the Grace Bible Institute of Costa Rica which was established in January in 2006. He is also a professor in the institute teaching among other courses: Theology, Greek, Church History, Discipleship and English. Over 40 students per trimester attend the institute receiving training to be pastors, lay leaders and missionaries. Jeremy heads up the field's missionary efforts to Nicaragua having led two teams there in the past two years. Jeremy and Andrea also lead the young adults ministry in their church. Another one of their regular ministries is to host mission teams who visit Costa Rica each year. They were former youth pastors at Union. Ladies Ministry Ladies Ministry meets the 4th Monday of each month, usually off-site at a local restaurant. Its goal is to offer ministry to women and by women. South Africa Missions Jason & Karen Shrock are serving Christ with Teen Mission International in South Africa. They are the coordinators for TMI in the country. They are involved in training team leaders and overseeing the teams of teens who come to serve. TMI equips teens by giving them the opportunity to spend their summer serving the Lord. Boot camp is followed by several weeks of project time where the young people serve, doing a variety of work and evangelism. TMI has programs in 23 countries.
