Rick Hines, Lead Pastor
Rick has served as Lead Pastor at Union Church since November of 2014. He is dedicated and focused on making disciples who make disciples.  
Rick became aware during his time in college where God’s calling was leading and finished with a Doctor of Ministry from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Deerfield, IL.
He and his wife Margaret have two sons, Glen and Alex. 
 
Camille
Camille Kline, Children’s & Women’s Ministry
Camille is compelled by her love for Jesus Christ and for His children. With the desire to serve the Lord, Camille has grown to treasure God’s Word and the teaching of it to all ages. Her greatest blessing comes from seeing people get excited about God and His Word. Camille has been serving at Union Church since 1991 after she decided to leave the accounting profession. Union has always been her church family. Camille’s favorite Scripture is Proverbs 3:5.
David Swain, Adult Associate Director

David was born and raised in Huntington and returned to Indiana after a stint in the U.S. Army, based in Ft. Sill, Oklahoma.  He is passionate about sharing the love of Jesus and the excitement of Christ’s resurrection with others.  After a career in chemical consulting, he felt the call of God to ministry and has joined the staff of Union Church.  David is excited to help the Union Church family find ways to be more involved in the ministry and community of the local church.  He also is available for visitation to those in need.   David and his wife Shelley live in Roanoke and have two sons and a daughter on their own – Jonathan, Andrew and Allyson – and one son at home – Zachary.

Bobby Schultz, Youth Ministry
Bobby has been involved with youth ministry ever since he was old enough to have someone younger than himself to teach about God.  He has pursued this passion through various ministry opportunities, as far away as Texas and as close as Huntington University.  He is a graduate of Huntington North High School and earned a degree in educational ministries from Huntington University in 2012.  He is excited to help build a community here at Union Church that truly does love God and loves others.  
Wendy Ash, Office Administrator
Wendy was born and raised in Roanoke. She and her husband, Dave, have two sons and one grandson. She is currently earning her degree in psychology from Indiana Wesleyan University. 
Wendy has a heart to share Jesus with those she meets and has a real desire to encourage women to live a life deeply rooted in Christ.  She is currently serving on the UC Women’s Leadership team and the Sunday Morning Worship Team.
 
Gretchen Ottinger, Administrative Assistant & Preschool Ministry 
Gretchen grew up and graduated from high school in Huntington. She has always had a heart for our young children and has been involved in and directed the Nursery & Preschool programs for years.
Gretchen and her husband Tyler have 4 daughters – Madison, Sophie, Emmy, and Isabelle.
